Eugene Mirman
is a comedian, writer, and film maker based in New York City (where,
according to commercials, salsa is terrible). As a child, he emigrated
from Russia and experienced a John Cusack 80's high school movie life.
Eugene attended Hampshire College in Western Massachusetts, where he
designed his own Comedy major.
Eugene has appeared on several TV shows, including Late Night
With Conan O'Brien, Comedy Central's Premium Blend and Jump Cuts, VH1,
Third Watch, Cartoon Network's Home Movies and more. He also played a
spokes-potato on Food Network and other oddities on various programs.
Eugene has appeared at the HBO US Comedy Arts Festival in
Aspen, the Montreal Just For Laughs Festival, Bumbershoot, and South By
Southwest. His weekly standup-variety show Invite Them Up, which he
co-produces with Bobby Tisdale and Holly Schlesinger, recently won a
Nightlife Award from an organization called The Nightlife Awards. No
one knows exactly who they are, but Tony Danza was there and so was one
of the Golden Girls. Eugene is also a frequent guest at Tinkle, a show
hosted by Todd Barry, David Cross, and Jon Benjamin.
Often touring the country, Eugene occasionally opens for the
comedy troupe Stella (former members of The State), various bands, or
with others. Eugene has opened for The Shins and toured with Modest
Mouse and Yo La Tengo. Check out Eugene's latest CD. Includes special bonus DVD. Available on Amazon and Suicide Squeeze Records. Now available on iTunes. The album was voted one of the Best Albums of 2004 by both The Onion and Time Out New York.

Bobby Tisdale
was born in Atlanta Georgia back in the seventies and then moved to
North Wilkesboro, North Carolina at the age of five and continued
living in parts of NC up until he moved to New York City in 1995. He
has two older sisters and two older parents that are very supportive of
his comedy career.
Bobby loves living in NYC because he is the co-producer (along with
Eugene Mirman) and full-time host of a very popular and successful
weekly comedy show called Invite Them Up. Bobby and Eugene just
finished recording a double CD/DVD of Invite Them Up on Comedy Central
Records and they plan on taking their show on the road in the fall.
Besides that, Mr. Tisdale does lots of stand-up, short videos and
sketch around the city and is also about to kick-start a national
college comedy tour with collegehumor.com that will bring happy faces
to thousands and thousands of college kids around this great country of
ours. Oh, and he's had a few VERY POWERFUL small parts in movies such
as Junebug, The Baxter
(Michael Showalter, IFC Films), and a couple other features that you've
never heard of that you just need to trust me are good.
If you want to see something impressive you should check out his
commercial work, it's outta sight! What else. Bobby's a Libra and has
red hair, he loves to party and enjoys being around children for long
stretches of time. If you want to know more, contact his manager Tucker
Voorhees @ 3Arts Entertainment, 212-905-2331.
